Gala Lewiatan Awards

The Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan presented the Lewiatan Awards at the 6th official award gala ceremony at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw on May 10.

Lewiatan Awards 2010 received:

Andrzej Wierzbicki Award - banker Leszek Czarnecki - for courageous business vision translated into a global success coupled with an eagerness to share his experience and promote pro-business attitude.

Władysław Grabski Award - head of the government team of advisors Michał Boni - for building Polands development strategy skillfully combining the challenges of social policy with economic challenges and for the determination in walking down this path.

The PKPP Lewiatan Board granted also a Special Prize which went to EU budget commissioner Janusz Lewandowski - for his input to the Polish transformation and adamant defense of market values and building Polands position in the EU.

Foundation Centrum PPP represented by Chairman of the board Irena Herbst.

During the Gala Awards in a debate "Poland and the world after the crisis - what next?" In view of the crisis situations in financial markets during the debate discussed ways of carrying out tasks with the use of public-private partnership.

The evening featured a concert by world-renowned artist Urszula Dudziak.
